Davis Recruitment is a specialist agency for the placement of Permanent Support Staff to the Medical/Healthcare Sector.

Our client is a Privately Owned General Practice in Narangba. We are seeking a Practice Manager to assist with the expansion of this thriving business. The successful candidate will possess strong relationship management and problem-solving skills and have a flexible, personable approach. We are seeking an energetic and passionate leader with a drive to succeed.

This role involves taking full ownership of the Practice Management role alongside the Practice owner. This position will involve:

Daily hands-on Practice Management and participation in practice administration

Human resource management, including rostering, staff task allocation, and productivity.

Clinical software management (Best Practice, Cliniko Cubiko, AutoMed & Gentu)

Clinical quality improvement management

Allied Health and Specialist liaison and support

Problem solving –Adopt a problem-solving approach to work-based issues as they arise

Participate in the development, implementation, review and maintenance of internal systems, processes and work practices to optimise the team's function.

Policy and procedure review and Accreditation (PracticeHub & AGPAL)

Carrying out the recruitment process (Administration and Nursing Support staff) and Doctor Induction

Rooms management for new doctors leasing the suites on a sessional basis and overall property management

Payroll and financial duties

Skills we value:

3+ years General Practice Management experience

Knowledge of Medicare and RACGP's accreditation standards

Experience with the software products listed above

Well-developed computer literacy and IT skills

Have high attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills

Be dynamic and positive about business activities and participate in marketing opportunities

Have a good understanding of Medicare item numbers

Foster an environment of open communication and success for the business

This is a full-time salaried position for a practice open extended hours. The successful candidate will need to have flexibility to meet the business needs.
