Our Client

Our client is a respected and growing organisation that supports young people, people with disability, and those seeking greater wellbeing and independence. Since 2008, they have developed three key service streams: NDIS registered supports, residential care, and outdoor mentorship programs.

Through their NDIS programs, they deliver mentoring, supported independent living (SIL), short-term accommodation (STA) and psychosocial supports, all guided by a person-led approach. Their unique outdoor mentorship program also helps participants build resilience and independence through activities such as kayaking, abseiling and mountain biking.

The Role

The Program Manager – NDIS provides strategic and operational oversight across both NDIS supports and outdoor mentorship programs. This senior leadership role reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for leading a team of 4 Team Leaders to deliver high-quality, person-centred services.

The Program Manager will work from our client's Narangba office, with a flexible start and finish time within business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing strategic and operational leadership across NDIS and outdoor programs.
  • Coaching and supporting leaders to deliver best practice services aligned with NDIS standards.
  • Overseeing compliance, incident management, risk frameworks and reporting.
  • Driving continuous improvement through data, participant feedback and quality audits.
  • Managing budgets, staffing models, and workforce planning in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with participants, families, funding bodies and external stakeholders.
  • Championing a values-based culture of collaboration, accountability, and child safety.

Role Requirements

  • Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services or related field.
  • Current Paid Blue Card, Disability Worker Screening, ability to obtain an LCS2 check, and a QLD Driver's Licence.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in disability or community services, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Therapeutic Crisis Intervention training desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of NDIS compliance, practice standards and funding models.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and overseeing multiple programs.
  • Demonstrated success in workforce development, service growth and stakeholder engagement.
  • High-level interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
