Dispatch Officer role at Consulting Services

Location: Port of Brisbane

Salary: $38.99 per hour inclusive of casual loading

Working hours: Monday to Friday 6.00am-2.00pm or 9.00am-5.00pm

Benefits and requirements: Excellent training and induction practices. Must have full working rights and own transport.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Dispatch Officer who can provide a point of contact to our national network of business partners and end users for the purpose of transporting and supplying the company's product range, demonstrating outstanding levels of customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding levels of support in warehouse receiving and dispatch processes
  • Co-operate with warehouse and transport teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
  • Build strong and positive business relationships with customers and end users
  • Promote a friendly climate, good morale and co-operation, and maintain a positive reputation with internal and external customers
  • Share information by keeping people informed and up-to-date about group processes
  • Represent the client professionally at all times and adhere to company policies
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in Warehousing and Transport is essential
  • Ability to present oneself in a positive and professional manner
  • Strong teamwork and willingness to participate in group decisions
  • Ability to foster and maintain professional relationships with customers and end users
