About The Opportunity
Our Payments and Payroll Team, based in Melbourne CBD, are currently seeking a Payments and Payroll Consultant to join them. In this role you will report to the Team Leader, your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparation and issuance of Payroll Deduction Advice.
- Processing of received salary packaging and GST contributions.
- Processing daily payment batches.
- Processing payment returns and error reporting.
- Maintain Superannuation suppliers and associated payments.
- Maintain BSB database.
- Maintain Global supplier database.
- Management of PPO inboxes.
- Phone queries received into PPO managed phone lines.
- Processing of reimbursement claims (as required).
- Adhere to Information Security Policy and procedures to ensure compliance within policy.
About You
We're looking for a motivated and service-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional client outcomes. To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Prior experience in the salary packaging industry is highly valued, though not essential.
- Experience in a payments or payroll role is required.
- A methodical approach with strong accuracy in processing documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to build rapport and foster trust.
- A professional who is passionate about delivering outstanding client service.
- Driven, reliable, and proactive, with a positive 'can-do' attitude.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively in a busy environment.
