Your communication and interpersonal skills enable you to build strong relationships across diverse groups, and you're comfortable working collaboratively across teams to achieve shared goals. You bring a student-centred mindset and enjoy contributing to programs that enhance student life both on campus and globally. You are proactive, detail-oriented, and take initiative to bring ideas to life—from planning and logistics to seamless delivery. Your ability to partner effectively with academic staff and operational teams makes you a trusted advocate for school-level student engagement priorities.

To be successful in this position, you'll have as a minimum:

• Demonstrated ability to seamlessly lead all aspects of event management, from initial planning to flawless execution.
• Demonstrated communication, relationship building and negotiation skills with the ability to work collegiately with academic and professional staff, students, and external clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Demonstrated project management skills including planning, budgeting, and resource management.
• Proven understanding of engagement strategies in a tertiary education environment.
• Proven experience in leading and motivating stakeholders and broader staff groups to deliver high performance outcomes.
• Proven ability to deliver a high quality customer service, applying understanding of stakeholder needs to improve experience
• Proven initiative and problem solving skills and ability to work independently to quickly extract the priority issues and, where appropriate, take action without specific direction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to conduct effective meetings and compose correspondence, minutes and action-oriented reports.
• Ability to adapt to changing software, digital technology and service delivery requirements with the ability to champion the implementation of new technology and ways of thinking.
