The Opportunity

Reporting to the Executive General Manager – Visy Board, you will have full accountability for state-wide manufacturing operations in Victoria. This role leads a large, multi-site operation, setting operational strategy, ensuring compliance and industrial harmony, and delivering outstanding results in safety, productivity, and quality.

With ownership of P&L performance, capital project delivery, and continuous improvement programs, you will be the key driver of operational excellence and business growth in this critical state leadership position.

Your Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction and operational priorities for all Victorian manufacturing sites.

• Lead a large, diverse workforce with a strong focus on safety, culture, and engagement.

• Oversee full operational P&L, including cost control, payroll, and capital investment.

• Manage complex HR and IR matters, ensuring compliance and fostering a high-performance culture.

• Champion continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) to lift capability and efficiency.

• Ensure technical and quality standards meet customer and regulatory requirements.

• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

What You'll Bring

• Proven track record in senior, multi-site operational leadership (15+ years).

• Demonstrated success in driving operational and cultural transformation.

• Strong IR expertise, with the ability to negotiate and influence at senior levels.

• Experience in large-scale manufacturing; packaging industry experience advantageous.

• Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Engineering, Operations, or Finance.
