This established and growing global financial services company is well reputed for delivering high-quality services across a diverse range of categories. With a strong focus on innovation, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence, the business is continuing an exciting phase of growth and transformation. The Financial Accountant will be responsible for the timely delivery of monthly financial processes and compliance obligations.

Your new role
  • Support the Assistant Accountant to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Prepare and lodge BAS, payroll tax, withholding tax, and FBT returns
  • Prepare group company income tax returns
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual variance analysis
  • Prepare statutory financial reports
  • Manage fixed assets and intercompany transactions
  • Collaborate with international colleagues and proivde support with GST, reconciliation etc
Your experience
  • Proven experience preparing BAS, FBT, statutory financial reports, and corporate tax returns
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience in managing month-end processes and delivering timely reports
  • CA/CPA qualified or currently completing certification
  • Possess high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving skills
