Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and analyzing financial information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain a well-organized system for accounting and financial transactions
  • Analyze financial data, including assets, liabilities, and capital
  • Prepare financial reports, including weekly, monthly, and annual reports
  • Assist with budget preparation and reporting
  • Enter financial data into accounting and CRM software
  • Verify, allocate, and post transactions
  • Process accounts receivable and payable, and record deposits
  • Maintain accurate records of charity collection boxes
  • Follow up on payments for the Child Private Sponsorship Scheme
  • Maintain a fixed asset register
  • Perform monthly bank account reconciliation
  • Complete month-end procedures
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or 2+ years related experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of accounting principles
  • Experience using standard spreadsheet and database software and accounting software
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent attendance and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
  • Data literacy and reporting skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Basic level of Arabic language skills
  • Data entry ability/keyboard skills
  • Background in accounting and finance
  • Previous experience managing accounts and records
  • Understanding of charitable donations and payment methods
Additional Requirements:
  • Flexibility in working outside regular hours
