We are currently looking for a Financial Accountant for a 6-12 month contract to cover Maternity Leave.

We are currently seeking a Financial Accountant to cover a maternity leave contract. This is a great opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to play a key role in our financial operations and contribute to the success of a growing national brand.
Role SummaryAs a Financial Accountant at Pet Pro 360, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting management with insights that drive strategic decisions. This is a hands-on role where you'll be directly involved in process improvements, efficiency projects, and compliance initiatives that support our financial performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecord financial transactions accurately and timely in the general ledger for 2-4 pet resort entitiesFollow up with individual pet resorts on inconsistencies in the cash receipting process with a view to making recommendations about process improvementsManage accruals, prepayments, and depreciation schedules.Monitor and assess financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and areas for improvementAssist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and financial statement preparation.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
Must HavesReliable mode of transport to our Ingleside office (public transport options are limited)Minimum 3 years' experience in a financial accounting role
