THE POSITION

We are seeking an Automotive Parts Interpreter for our successful, large local business in Mackay.

This role involves selling, stock control, and administrative tasks related to parts, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service in every transaction.

Duties include:

  • Identifying parts and components
  • Managing storage and stock control procedures
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Receiving and filling parts orders
  • Building and maintaining customer loyalty
  • Developing knowledge of the automotive industry
  • Enhancing written and verbal communication skills
  • Operating effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Using Parts Catalogues (Micro-Cat and Toyota Live) is highly regarded

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Automotive Sales - Parts Interpretation or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Technical aptitude
