About the role

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Store Person/ Parts Interpreter to join our dynamic team at Vassallo Constructions mechanical workshop in Shoal Point, Queensland. This full-time role is integral in our maintenance team as well as our interface with suppliers and ideally suited to a person looking to join a business that is experiencing significant growth.

What you'll be doing
  • Receiving, unpacking and storage of incoming goods.
  • Picking, packing and dispatch of goods.
  • Completion of associated paperwork.
  • Sourcing and ordering parts and supplies/consumables.
  • Manage stock levels of critical spares.
  • Use of forklifts/machinery to move goods.
  • Perform routine order collections.
  • Develop and manage relationships with suppliers and customers.
Who you are
  • Previous warehouse experience within a similar role.
  • Able to work autonomously within a team environment.
  • Good verbal and written skills.
  • Computer literate at an intermediate level.
  • An energetic individual with the ability to multitask and prioritize your workloads.
  • Previous experience in Parts Interpretation and/or Parts Sales is highly desirable.
  • Honest and reliable.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • This is a hands-on role that will also require physical manual handling/heavy lifting.

Remuneration based on experience

38-hour week - Monday - Friday, overtime as required
