Overview

Library & Customer Service Officer - Casual Positions Available at Murrindindi Shire Council. The successful applicants will provide relief across Library and Customer Services (including call centre) in Alexandra, Yea and Kinglake and deliver high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Provide casual relief across Library and Customer Service Centres in Alexandra, Yea and Kinglake.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, be a positive and flexible team player, and use various software packages on computers.
  • Support the delivery of customer service and programs as required.
What You Will Bring
  • Excellent customer service skills with experience working positively in a customer-facing team (experience in library, customer, or local government settings highly regarded).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal professionally with customers.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to present to small groups.
  • Ability to think and act quickly, exercise good judgment, and perform well under pressure.
  • Sound administrative skills and experience across software and IT systems, including Microsoft Office, cash handling.
