More Specifically, You Will- Contribute to commercial outcomes through strong brand alignment to the sponsorship portfolio.
- Support the optimal leverage of the sponsorship portfolio through operational excellence in innovation, planning, delivery, and measurement.
- Manage day-to-day operations of sponsorships and third-party partners, agencies, and suppliers.
- Lead on ticketing and hospitality programs across stakeholders.
- Build strong working relationships with marketing peers, internal stakeholders, and partners.
- Understand brand and customer needs, behaviors, and interests for key segments.
- Implement contractual benefits for sponsorship assets.
- Plan and execute sponsorship campaigns across channels.
- Influence marketing stakeholders to deliver effective sponsorship programs.
- Coordinate sponsorship activations with partners, media, and events.
- Use test and learn methodologies for measurement and optimization.
- Report on campaign results and ROI.
- Use research and industry intelligence to keep activities current and relevant.
- Review sponsorship strategy for synergies and gaps.
- Negotiate with external partners for opportunities and benefits.
- Contribute to sponsorship strategies for stakeholders and senior management.
- Manage budgets, invoices, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with governance and legal requirements.
- Respond to sponsorship requests.
- Model Suncorp Behaviours and Code of Conduct.
- Degree in Marketing or equivalent.
- 5+ years in marketing, with focus on sponsorship and customer engagement.
- Experience managing sponsorship portfolios and activations.
- Effective communication and relationship management.
- Commercial acumen and results orientation.
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to develop business cases demonstrating ROI.
- Proven change management and innovation skills.
- Ability to interpret marketing data.
- Budget and forecasting management.
- Negotiation skills (preferred).
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Leadership and teamwork.
