We are looking for an experienced Business Development & Sales Manager to lead our expansion in the Australian pharmaceutical and engineering sectors. This role involves identifying growth opportunities, executing strategic sales plans, managing client relationships, and aligning project delivery with company goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue business opportunities through research, prospecting, and lead generation
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders across Australia
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets and expand market presence
  • Conduct market analysis to stay ahead of trends, competitors, and customer needs
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored, compliant project solutions
  • Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry forums
  • Align local business development strategies with global objectives and report to the Director

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 8–10 years of experience in business development/sales within the pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record
  • Deep understanding of the Australian market, including labour laws and workforce competency requirements
  • Experience working in multinational or cross-border roles
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to independently manage end-to-end project execution, including assembling global teams
  • Proficient in CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willing to travel domestically and internationally for project acquisition and delivery
  • Familiar with industries like EPCM, pharmaceutical, and plant maintenance to accelerate market penetration
