Overview

Regulatory Services Investigation Officer

Location: Oran Park Administration Building - 70 Central Avenue, Oran Park 2570

Work Type: Temporary Full Time up to 30 June 2026

Salary: $81,771 - 99,108 p.a. + Super

Responsibilities
  • Carry out regulatory functions in compliance with legislation and Council policies to protect and enhance the environment of Camden and the health and safety of the community.
Essential
  • Relevant Council regulatory training such as Certificate IV in Local Government (Regulatory Services) for Law Enforcement Officers, alternative relevant industry experience, or demonstrated transferable skills
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment with a strong customer service focus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to apply Equal Employment Opportunities (EEO), Work Health & Safety (WHS) and ethical practice principles and to act with probity at all times
Desirable
  • Broad understanding of relevant regulatory legislation
  • Experience in conflict and dispute resolution
