Base pay range

A$65.00/hr - A$80.00/hr

We're seeking a skilled Network Engineer (level-2) to join a large-scale network refresh project at our client's in Perth. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on engineer with strong experience in Juniper networks to play a critical role in maintaining and uplifting the client's infrastructure.

The Role

As a Network Engineer, you'll be responsible for both BAU support and project-based activities, with a strong focus on incident/ticket resolution, patching, and remediation. You'll work within an open and collaborative team structure, reporting directly to the Network Manager.

  • Provide day-to-day BAU support, including incident and ticket resolution.
  • Perform network patching, upgrades, and remediation activities.
  • Support the ongoing network refresh project leveraging Juniper technologies.
  • Escalate issues when required, while managing mid-level engineering responsibilities independently.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth network operations.
  • Core Technology: Juniper (primary platform).
  • Ticketing Tool: ServiceNow.

What We're Looking For

  • Hands-on experience with Juniper networking technologies.
  • Proven track record in network patching and remediation.
  • Strong troubleshooting and incident resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team.
  • Industry background: open to candidates from any sector.
  • Start Date: ASAP.
  • Location: Onsite – Joondalup, Perth.
  • Hours: Standard business hours.
  • Duration: 6 months (with possible extension).
  • Clearance: No clearance or background check required.
