Job Description
  • Handle inbound phone calls from customers.
  • Accurately take and process orders, ensuring correct item codes and products are keyed on the invoice.
  • Substitute out-of-stock items with suitable replacements.
  • Promote slow-moving products to customers.
  • Up sell products to existing customers.
  • Provide delivery information in response to customer inquiries.
  • Promote the self-service ordering portal on our website.
  • Support the sales team with quotes, administrative tasks, and order updates.
  • Engage positively with customers to enhance their experience.
  • Conduct outbound calls to prompt reorders from customers.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse and operations team to ensure high-level customer service.
  • Prepare and provide customer quotes.
  • Processing of Goods Returns and Credits inline with company policies.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate must possess a strong "can do" approach whilst having the ability to work both autonomously and within a team. A high standard of attention to detail and time management skills are imperative along with the ability to provide a high level of professionalism. The working environment a collaborative one where open and honest communication is encouraged.
