Wagners Concrete Toowoomba has a unique opportunity for you to join their organisation as a Production Trainee based at their batching plant in Toowoomba, where you will learn the operations of our batching plant from the ground up.

Starting in the yard, this role is ideal for a person that is passionate about understanding the why of operations and knows how to use their initiative to learn and develop their knowledge in how concrete is mixed, measured and batched ready for transport.

Once you have learnt the workings in the yard you will then be trained in all aspects of how the concrete is moved from the yard through very efficient and time sensitive scheduling, working as part of the team in batching, you will be trained by professionals in all aspects of logistics, and provide outstanding customer service to our clients to ensure a smooth delivery on time

This traineeship is provided with the view to have the successful candidate to be able to eventually run their own Wagners Concrete Plant in the SEQ Region.

What do you need to apply?

Driver's licence and reliable transport

Strong verbal communication skills

Strong time management skills

Reliable with a can-do attitude

Exposure to the construction industry or similar is preferable but not essential

A strong commitment to safety and quality

Candidates must be currently residing in or around the suburbs of Toowoomba
