With 130 years of expertise, Norco is a vertically integrated business supporting communities through DairyFoods and AgriSolutions, through a ground up approach.Role Overview:As a Health & Wellbeing Advisor at Norco, you'll be at the forefront of promoting health and wellbeing, preventing workplace injuries, and ensuring effective injury management and return-to-work processes for injured workers.
This is your chance to make a tangible difference in a supportive and dynamic team.This role would suit someone with an exercise physiology or occupational therapy degree looking to into occupational rehabilitation/education.Key Responsibilities:Injury Management: Lead early intervention and workers' compensation processes.Training & Coaching: Empower managers and supervisors in injury reporting and management.Strategic Planning: Drive WHS improvements and compliance with legislation.Research: Wok with external research agencies to develop wellbeing initiatives.Data Analysis: Review and analyse injury reports to inform strategic decisions.Legislation Updates: Stay ahead of changes in workers' compensation and WHS laws.Initiative Development: Plan and implement wellbeing and injury management initiatives.External Coordination: Manage pre-employment medicals, workplace assessments, and more.Accident Investigation: Determine causes and corrective actions for workplace incidents.Qualifications & Experience:Accreditation: NSW Workover Advanced RTW Coordinator (can be obtained after commencing in the role).
Education: Degree in Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy or Health and Rehabilitation.Experience: Proven track record in developing rehabilitation and education programs.Knowledge: In-depth understanding of health and wellbeing.Skills: Strong investigative and mentoring abilities.Why Norco?
