Commercial & Domestic Project Manager – Joinery

Due to continued growth and success, we are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Joinery Project Manager to join our dynamic and friendly team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager with a background in joinery to take ownership of a diverse range of projects from inception to completion. You will oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of commercial and residential joinery projects, working closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.

You'll thrive in this role if you're a strong communicator, highly organised, and passionate about driving successful project outcomes in a collaborative and hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple joinery projects across commercial and domestic sectors
• Liaise with clients, builders, designers, and trades to ensure project requirements are met
• Interpret architectural plans, joinery shop drawings, and specifications
• Coordinate and schedule production, delivery, and on-site installation
• Monitor project budgets, timelines, and quality control
• Conduct site visits and manage site safety and compliance (WHS)
• Assist with procurement, supplier coordination, and contract administration
• Ensure smooth project handover and manage defect rectification
• Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure buildability and accuracy
  

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in joinery, fit-out, or cabinet making
• Strong knowledge of joinery construction, installation, and manufacturing processes
• Ability to read and interpret detailed plans and technical drawings
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Experience managing multiple projects concurrently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project scheduling tools
• Understanding of OHS, quality assurance, and site safety
• Cabinet Vision, Jobman, or similar software experience (advantageous)
• Trade background or relevant qualification in construction/joinery (preferred)
• Current driver's license and own vehicle
