About the role

Rosemount Joinery, a specialist in precision cabinetry and joinery manufacturing, is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive growth and strengthen our presence within the building, construction, and commercial sectors.

This role is focused on building strong relationships with builders, developers, shopfitters, architects, and project managers, while securing new contracts and partnerships that align with Rosemount Joinery's manufacturing capabilities.

The successful candidate will bring a mix of industry knowledge, sales expertise, and the ability to align client needs with our factory's production capacity.

Key accountabilities


•       Identify and develop new business opportunities with builders, construction firms, and commercial clients.


•       Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, developers, and project managers.


•       Prepare and present detailed proposals, quotes, and tenders that align with Rosemount Joinery's production schedules and capabilities.


•       Negotiate contracts and supply agreements with trade partners and commercial clients.


•       Work closely with scheduling, detailing, and operations teams to ensure accurate project handovers.


•       Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities in the company's CRM system.


•       Represent Rosemount Joinery at industry events, networking groups, and trade shows.


•       Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments to identify growth opportunities.


•       Achieve and exceed agreed sales and partnership targets.

About You


• –7 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management

(experience in joinery, cabinetry, manufacturing, or construction highly regarded).


•       Proven ability to win and manage commercial contracts or trade accounts.


•       Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.


•       Familiarity with construction project workflows and the needs of builders/developers.


•       Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance client expectations and factory capacity.


•       Proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office Suite.


•       Experience preparing quotes, proposals, and responding to tenders (advantageous).
