The Role

We're seeking an experienced Microvellum Drafting Specialistto join our team on a part-time basis. You'll produce detailed and accurate shop drawings for commercial joinery, retail shopfronts, and bespoke fitouts. Working closely with our Production Manager and production team, you'll ensure drawings are precise, buildable, and fully coordinated for manufacture and installation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed shop drawings in Microvellum for commercial joinery, shopfronts, and bespoke fitouts.
  • Translate architectural and design intent into clear construction documentation.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and suppliers on technical details, finishes, and fittings.
  • Ensure drawings comply with Australian Standards, codes, and joinery best practices.
  • Review drawings for constructability, accuracy, and potential clashes.
  • Support production teams in interpreting for build.

Skills & Experience

  • 3–5+ years' drafting experience in joinery, shopfitting, or interiors.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microvellum proficiency.
  • Strong knowledge of joinery, cabinetmaking, and construction methods.
  • Ability to interpret architectural/structural drawings with accuracy.
  • High attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
