About The RoleWe are seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to provide personalised, respectful, and empowering support to people living with a disability. In this role, you will help individuals work towards their goals, maintain their independence, and participate fully in everyday life. Key duties include:
- Providing personal care and daily living support tailored to individual needs.
- Assisting with tasks such as meal preparation, light domestic work, and transportation.
- Encouraging social participation, community engagement, and inclusion.
- Supporting choice and independence in all aspects of care.
- Following individualised care plans.
- Maintaining accurate records in accordance with organisational and compliance requirements.

- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability, flexibility, and a proactive approach to care.
The Successful Candidate Will Demonstrate:
- Experience in manual handling and supporting clients with mobility aids and personal care equipment.
- The ability to work with clients with complex mental health needs, including behavioural and emotional regulation.
- Availability Monday to Friday, between 7am and 7pm.
- Availability for weekend, public holiday, and school holiday shifts.
- Minimum Certificate III or IV in Disability Services (or equivalent), or at least three years' relevant experience.
- A completed Assist Clients with Medication skill set (or willingness to obtain).
- Access to a reliable, registered, and insured vehicle suitable for transporting clients.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or Yellow Card).
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate.
- Current National Police Check.
- Working with Children Blue Card.
- A current C-Class driver's licence with a good driving record.
- Proof of the right to work in Australia.
- Salary packaging benefits up to $15,900 per year, plus $2,550 for meals and entertainment.
- Paid travel time between clients.
- $0.99 per kilometre travel allowance.
