About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to provide personalised, respectful, and empowering support to people living with a disability.
In this role, you will help individuals work towards their goals, maintain their independence, and participate fully in everyday life.
Key duties include:

Providing personal care and daily living support tailored to individual needs.
Assisting with tasks such as meal preparation, light domestic work, and transportation.
Encouraging social participation, community engagement, and inclusion.
Supporting choice and independence in all aspects of care.
Following individualised care plans.
Maintaining accurate records in accordance with organisational and compliance requirements.

The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Reliability, flexibility, and a proactive approach to care.

Selection Criteria
The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Experience in manual handling and supporting clients with mobility aids and personal care equipment.
The ability to work with clients with complex mental health needs, including behavioural and emotional regulation.
Availability Monday to Friday, between 7am and 7pm.
Availability for weekend, public holiday, and school holiday shifts.

Minimum Certificate III or IV in Disability Services (or equivalent), or at least three years' relevant experience.
A completed Assist Clients with Medication skill set (or willingness to obtain).
Access to a reliable, registered, and insured vehicle suitable for transporting clients.

You will also need:

Current First Aid and CPR certification.
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or Yellow Card).
NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate.
Current National Police Check.
Working with Children Blue Card.
A current C-Class driver's licence with a good driving record.
Proof of the right to work in Australia.
