HR Partners by Randstad is excited to be partnering with a purpose-driven organisation based in Parramatta for a newly created HRBP (IR Advisor) role for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role will assist the Workplace Relations (ER) team in industrial relations matters, especially with their EA/EBAs and union dealings.
The role will report into the ER Manager and primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Advisory duties regarding employment terms in accordance with Enterprise Agreements, Awards, and legislation.
- Leading and supporting enterprise agreement bargaining, advocacy, and negotiations with unions and other external bodies.
- Monitoring the workplace relations landscape, especially IR and ER, providing strategic advice on adherence to maintaining compliance and responding to change.
- Monitoring the conditions of employment, minimising industrial disputes, and building external stakeholder relationships, especially with unions.
- Maintaining and ensuring all relevant policies, procedures, and guidelines are current and compliant, and IR records and other relevant materials.
To be successful in this position, you will be:
- Having a minimum of 5 years work experience within HR as a subject matter expert in Industrial Relations.
- Solid experience with Enterprise Agreements, especially leading or supporting the EA/EBA negotiations process end to end.
- Possessing a tertiary and/or higher education qualification (certificate/diploma minimum) in HR or a related field, and/or Industrial Relations.
- Having strong HR knowledge, skills, and experience, especially in Australian HR best practice, legislation, Industrial instruments, and frameworks.
