The role is New South Wales based, working from a home office or in the field.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager - Parts. Your key responsibility will be to identify retail parts business development opportunities channeled through direct sales across the non-captive IVECO parts ranges, achieve profit targets and maintain high level of sales support across the retail customer base.

Using specialist knowledge, interpret parts requirements via customer visits and on-call availability.

Creation and execution of sales action plans around key accounts and retail sales.

Grow existing retail customer accounts as well as capture and grow new business through regular visitations and building enduring relationships.

Provide on-site training to retail customer parts staff to minimize enquiries and improve support.

Control, maintain and stock take consignment stock placed at respective customer locations. Keep records of stock takes and variance lists.

Candidate:

Ideally, you will have an extensive background in the commercial vehicle industry or heavy equipment, thriving on sales and have a talent for spare parts and problem solving. The successful candidate must be an effective communicator, have good problem-solving skills, a team player and have a proven track record in developing good customer/dealer relationships.

Candidate requirements:

Proven experience in spare-parts sales, preferably Truck, Van or Bus parts

A technical or mechanical background in commercial vehicleparts will be highly regarded

Good verbal and written communication skills coupled with well-organised time management
