We're seeking a motivated, hands-on Retail Store Manager to operate our flagship Melbourne showroom and ensure our store delivers an exceptional shopping experience.
Position Overview:
With a passion for furniture and interior décor, the Retail Store Manager will oversee the daily operations of our furniture showroom, ensuring sales targets are met, customer satisfaction is achieved, and store standards are maintained. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for home décor and furniture.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
Maintain exceptional showroom presentation in line with brand standards.
Manage day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, visual merchandising, inventory management, and housekeeping.
Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and solution-focused manner.
Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety policies.
Skills & Experience:
Passion for furniture, design, and customer service.
Minimum 3 years' experience in retail management, preferably in furniture, homewares, or a similar industry.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
Proficient in POS systems.
