What You'll Be Doing Play a critical role in delivering the business strategy and enhancing the Spotlight Retail experience Build commercially balanced product ranges aligned with company strategy, managing the end-to-end product lifecycle including product, pricing and go-to-market plans Develop and implement strategies to achieve financial objectives including sales, profit and stock turnover Recognise and interpret trends to build ranges that maintain consistent brand identity Apply commercial skills and customer insights to deliver long-term strategic growth Collaborate with cross-functional teams Trade the department in partnership with the Business Development Manager and Planner by optimising profit, maximising sales and proactively managing marketing and markdowns Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of competitor activity and external trends, identifying missed opportunities to maximise revenue Coach and develop Buyer Assistant Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company procedures.
