Chefs All Levels Fine Dining - The Lodge Group

The Cellar is our energetic and inviting lower ground venue, serving bold wines and an Italian-inspired menu with personality and pace. It features handmade pasta and casual Italian comfort, executed with attention to detail and finesse.

The Lodge Little Collins Fine Dining Level 1 is a bright, refined dining room celebrating Victorian produce with elegance and flair. The space is both grand and intimate, designed to stimulate the senses and showcase the art of hospitality. The menu emphasizes premium Australian produce, focusing on quality, craftsmanship, and technique.

We are hiring for two separate kitchen teams:

  • The Cellar: Casual Italian comfort with attention to detail and finesse. Positions still available—please apply.
  • The Lodge Little Collins: Fine Dining with finesse, emphasizing quality and craftsmanship. Experience at 2-3 hats or Michelin star level preferred.

  • Pastry Section - All levels
  • Sauce Section - All levels
  • Garnish - All levels
  • Chefs of all levels
The Role

We seek an experienced Chef capable of:

  • Executing a station with precision and consistency
  • Working alongside senior kitchen staff and following directions
  • Completing prep and production efficiently and accurately
  • Upholding food safety standards
  • Contributing to a fun and positive work environment
Candidate Requirements

To succeed, you should:

  • Have high attention to detail, finesse, and uphold high standards
  • Be organized with good time management
  • Possess a positive attitude and eagerness to learn and teach
  • Have strong communication skills for effective interaction with both kitchen and front of house teams
