Distribution Operations Coordinator

Your role: This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and goal-oriented person to join our world class Warehousing & Distribution Centre based out of Rocklea, QLD. Reporting to the Customer, Supplier & Transport Lead you will be responsible for driving operational performance, empowering and engaging an experienced distribution team, & delivering step change improvements to ensure Rocklea continues to perform as a best-in-class facility. You will ensure Distribution objectives are met, which include an uncompromising commitment to safety, accurate & efficient order picking to service our customers, and Continuous Improvement delivered through reduction of waste & increase in efficiency through standardised processes. Key Responsibilities: As the Distribution Operations Coordinator you will focus on improving organisational effectiveness through the development and deployment of solutions to improve distribution productivity and assist with driving a high-performance culture built on safe work practices. Additionally, you will be responsible for; * Promoting a safe & sustainable culture & job environment * Ensuring distribution KPI's for the site/shift are met. * Distribution and team coordination. * Management of inventory and support labor planning to meet operational requirements * Third party supplier management, such as transport providers. * Continuous identification and elimination of waste in the Distribution value streams. * Improving organisational effectiveness through the development and deployment of solutions to improve productivity and drive a high-performance culture.
