We are seeking to establish a pool of Primary Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Note: This position is being advertised as part of a recruitment pilot designed to simplify the application process for teachers. A mandatory CV template is provided for use. Application requirements include character limited responses to address only 2 Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) domains at application stage. The remaining AITSL domain will be assessed as part of the further assessment stage, for shortlisted applicants only.

The Role

We are seeking dedicated and conscientious teachers who are committed to excellence in teaching and learning. Suitable applicants will ideally be actively engaged in both the school and wider community, demonstrate a reflective approach to their teaching practice, and use evidence-based strategies to inform planning and differentiate learning. A capacity and willingness to lead or contribute to the development and delivery of whole-school programs and priorities will be viewed favourably.

Applicants should possess strong professional knowledge, effective teaching practices, and experience in delivering engaging, student-centred programs. Ideally, they will have demonstrated success working with students across a range of ability levels, including in multi-age or split-year group settings. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, along with a willingness to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external networks to foster positive community partnerships, will be highly regarded.

We are looking for individuals who are relationship-focused and apply consistent, transparent behaviour management strategies. Applicants should be enthusiastic, proactive, and open to innovation, with the ability to contribute positively within a collaborative team environment.

As a valued member of our teaching team, you will be expected to implement effective, engaging, and innovative learning programs aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum and contribute to whole-school approaches and planning in collaboration with colleagues.
