THE OPPORTUNITY

The Assistant Asset Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of assets within our portfolios. Reporting to the Asset Manager, this position will contribute to the overall success of our organisation playing an instrumental part in efficiently and effectively managing the asset management system on behalf of our clients. Supported by a small team, you will be providing technical analysis of strategic equipment data and be managing designated projects, Planned Preventative Maintenance programs, PPM Schedules and other related activities to drive efficacies and productivity.

Your responsibilities :

Provide leadership in the management of Planned Preventative Maintenance programs and assets.Maintaining financial controls and reporting for PPM programmes.Developing and document asset standards and processesProviding recommendations for the improvement of operational performance and project manage the implementation of recommendations with stakeholders.Work closely with the Asset Manager, Operations team and other stakeholders in onboarding new partners and align asset management strategies with organisational goals.

You will be required to have :

Degree in Engineering or similar (essential) or Degree in Business / Finance or similarA Track record in a similar role, ideally in demanding and complex environmentsMust have advanced Excel skillsPower BI / Power Pivot / Power Query reporting experience – highly regardedStrong customer relation skills with total commitment to customer satisfactionSelf-starting, able to work with a minimum of supervisionExceptional attention to detail
