About the opportunityAssociate Engineering Intake – join our CampUs program in February 2026.
The CampUs Program is a structured path to start a career in software engineering, featuring ongoing, adaptable and personalized development. The program's development strategy follows the "3 E's of Development":
- Experience: On‑the‑job experiences on real projects with a cross‑functional team.
- Exposure: Learning by observation and feedback; mentors and buddies guide you through Culture Amp and software engineering.
- Education: Structured learning activities to strengthen technical and core skills.

This is a full‑time, permanent Associate Engineer position. As an Associate Engineer on one of our teams, you can expect to:
- Tackle a wide variety of technical problems across our codebases and build features with team support.
- Collaborate with other engineers through pair programming.
- Partner with AI coding agents to amplify development workflow.
- Work with product managers and designers to understand customer problems and develop, refine, and implement solutions.
- Maintain and support the services your team is responsible for.
This role could be for you if:
- You have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering (or a related STEM discipline), or finished a coding bootcamp within the last 12 months, or are in the process of completing one; degree/bootcamp must be completed before joining CampUs in February 2026.
- You are willing to learn across the technology stack used at Culture Amp (e.g., React/TypeScript, Ruby, Kotlin, Go, and more).
- You are excited about AI to help engineers innovate and are open to using AI coding tools.
- You are a proactive, clear communicator who values empathy, kindness, and open dialogue.
- You are self‑motivated, able to work independently, and willing to seek support when needed.
- You have a growth mindset and embrace challenges.
- You are based in Melbourne, Australia.
