About the Role

Are you passionate about product strategy, supplier engagement, and driving category performance? We're looking for a dynamic Category Manager to join our high-performing team and lead the development, execution, and optimisation of our rotating electrical product category.

This is a unique opportunity to join our specialist Auto Electrical Group at a pivotal moment — as we rebrand and strengthen our position in the marketplace. You'll work cross-functionally with pricing, inventory, marketing, and ecommerce teams to deliver commercial outcomes, streamline inventory, and enhance customer value.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly category reviews, including performance analysis, supplier updates, and inventory health.
• Drive pricing strategies, promotional planning, and margin improvement initiatives.
• Manage supplier relationships, including trading terms, new product introductions, and contract negotiations.
• Collaborate on range reviews, consolidations, and new product development.
• Provide insights and recommendations to support business growth and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects including ecommerce, marketing campaigns, and training.

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience in category or product management (automotive or industrial preferred).
• Suitable tertiary qualification would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Pronto, Oscar) and inventory classification frameworks (e.g., ABC), as well as proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
