The Role

As General Manager—Optilease, you will:

  • Provide strategic leadership across all truck and light commercial leasing operations.
  • Lead daily operations including leasing, disposal and customer communications.
  • Foster a high-performance, customer-focused culture; improve efficiency, loyalty, and profitability.
  • Develop and implement business plans, marketing strategies, and growth initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, WHS, sales standards, and HR protocols.
  • Mentor rising talent and shape the future leadership team.
You'll Bring
  • Prior people and account management experience with strong organisational, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Strong strategic, financial, and operational acumen with full P&L experience.
  • Excellent communicator: skilled in coaching, team development, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Solid customer orientation—focused on retention, experience, and loyalty.
  • Tech-savvy—experience with Dealer Management Systems or complex CRM/ERP tools.

Optilease is a privately owned company with over 20 years' experience specialising in Isuzu Trucks, Australia's #No.1 Truck Brand plus Isuzu Ute at our Eagle Farm branch.

We operate in partnership with Brisbane Isuzu across four dealerships in Greater Brisbane with a comprehensive focus on all aspects of truck sales, ute sales, vehicle fabrication & manufacturing, after sales parts, service, maintenance and heavy repair.
