Overview

Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, such as cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Provide personal care services including showering, toileting, assistance with medications, as well as domestic duties and social supports such as assisting with transportation for clients.
  • Be a friendly face and brighten someone's day; provide compassionate care and support to clients in their homes.
Qualifications
  • Live in or near Tanilba Bay NSW including surrounding suburbs: Soldiers Point, Carrington, Fern Bay, Lemon Tree Passage, Salt Ash, Stockton, Taylors Beach.
  • Have a current Australian Driver's Licence with your own car (International licences or shared/rental vehicles not accepted).
  • Have 3+ months experience in a paid Aged Care setting.
  • Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 7am to 7pm, Monday to Friday (1 weekend a month required).
  • Commitment to the paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training at the Maitland Office when you start (travel is required for training).
  • Note: This is NOT a vacancy for Disability or to work in a facility/nursing home.

  • Permanent Contract hours: 20-30 hours per fortnight + flexible up hours
  • Hourly rate: $32.86 - $34.16 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time
