BBB Remote Site Services is seeking to appoint an experienced village manager for our upcoming site.
This is primarily a 10-4 DIDO role. The successful applicant will be key to ensuring high-quality provision of meals, cleaning, maintenance, onsite camp management, bookings, and check-in/check-out procedures.
Reporting to our Camp Services Manager, you will have the autonomy and support to manage the village on the ground. Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring uninterrupted provision of camp services
- Engaging and communicating directly with client management
- Maintaining appropriate staffing levels at the camps
- Promoting a safe working environment with a focus on employee health and wellbeing
- Maintaining high levels of customer and staff satisfaction
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with experience in the remote site environment. The role requires demonstrable experience in managing accommodation, food, and housekeeping services in regional areas. A passion for delivering quality camp services and fostering a positive camp environment is essential. Ideally, the candidate will have qualifications in commercial cookery, a valid C-class driver's license in Australia, and an understanding of food safety, HACCP, and ISO standards. Additional attributes include:
- Personable with strong relationship-building skills
