Business Development Manager - Commercial Credit Software (Hybrid)
Experian is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business across financial services, telecommunications & utilities, and our corporate segment. This role suits an experienced sales professional who can hunt for new opportunities and deliver tailored solutions from our suite of decisioning, fraud and ID, credit, digital, and data offerings.
Responsibilities- Prospect for new potential clients with consideration of Experian's core value propositions
- Clearly convey information and ideas to individuals and groups in a variety of situations
- Build a territory plan to incorporate Experian's integrated solutions with long-term client value
- Aim to exceed revenue and performance targets for net new business
- Develop industry-specific value propositions
- Champion the Net Promoter Score (NPS) process with clients and internally
- Advocate best practices and Experian values
- Provide expertise to the client base through white papers, insight reports, and industry feedback
- 5+ years of sales experience with at least 3 years in a pure Business Development Manager role
- Ability to research and understand client/industry organizations
- Understanding of competitors' positioning and market drivers; ability to promote products or services and understand regulatory requirements
- Ability to assess client needs and recommend high-value Experian solutions; experience with intuitive cloud-based platforms is desirable
- Proven negotiation and deal-closing credentials
