Position Title

Intermediate Accountant (2–3 Years' Experience) – Public Practice - Korean speaker

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant, based in Chatswood, NSW. The Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting tasks such as bookkeeping, financial reporting, tax preparation, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of financial statements, tax returns, BAS, and compliance work for individuals, companies, trusts, and SMSFs
  • Assist with business advisory services, including budgeting, cash flow, and management reporting
  • Liaise with the ATO and other regulatory bodies on behalf of clients
  • Work collaboratively with senior accountants and partners on client engagements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing high-quality service
Requirements
  • 2–3 years' experience in an Australian public practice accounting firm
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline (completed or near completion of CA/CPA highly regarded)
  • Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or similar)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines with attention to detail
  • Korean speakers preferred
