Operations Administrator – Port Adelaide, SA

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Operations Administrator to join our Resources & Industrials division in Port Adelaide. The purpose of this role is to provide quality customer service and administrative services to the Resources & Industrials business division to enable supply of quality warehousing, transport, supply base and project services. As the Operations Administrator, you will:

  • Follow purchasing process as per business requirements with reference to Delegation of Authority guidelines.

  • Provide general administrative support to the Operations Team, including the distribution of external and internal written communication (i.e. assist with reporting & scanning of documents) as required.

  • Establish, build and maintain effective relations with Clients / Customers (internal & external); to effect quality output against deliverables (in meeting Toll / Client expectations).

  • Emails to be distributed and actioned in a timely manner from shared email boxes.

  • Establish and maintain effective liaison with personnel in other Toll Business Units.

  • Provide administration Data input for HR, HSE and Training systems including Take 5, Hazard Card, SFS.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or operational role.

  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated time management, delegation and prioritising skills.

  • Microsoft office suite expertise including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Previous experience in the transport and logistics industry will be highly regarded.
