Overview

Air Conditioning Technician (Mechanic) – Location: Gold Coast
• Position: Full-time
• Salary: $85,000 – $95,000 per annum

Synergy Airconditioning is seeking a qualified full-time Air Conditioning Technician to join our team in Gold Coast. This role involves assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial, commercial, and domestic air-conditioning systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, service, and repair residential and commercial air conditioning systems.
  • Replace defective components and record all maintenance and repair actions.
  • Diagnose faults and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Check and connect equipment, ensuring alignment and accuracy of fit.
  • Adjusting system controls and mechanisms as required.
  • Communicate clearly with clients and provide top-tier customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
  • Conduct leak testing, vacuuming, refrigerant charging, and performance testing on systems.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
  • Minimum of 2 years' relevant work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Licensing as required in Queensland.
  • Valid driver's licence.
