Yarra City Council is seeking passionate, energised and motivated Customer Service Officers to join our vibrant Customer Experience team in the Leisure Services branch.

The successful candidate will possess the ability to build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders within Leisure Services. They will have previous involvement with delivering outstanding customer service, maintaining relationships and completing administrative functions that support the daily running of the customer service team. Experience within leisure services will be looked upon favourably.

This is a casual ongoing position with various benefits from accessing all of the Yarra Leisure facilities to the opportunity to work in a vibrant and diverse council environment.

Responsibilities
  • To provide memorable and efficient customer service to patrons of the Yarra Leisure Venues, in line with City of Yarra customer service standards
  • Develop strong relationships with all Yarra Leisure patrons and Yarra Leisure staff ensuring a positive contribution to the Team
  • To keep abreast with all Yarra Leisure's products, services, policies and procedures and ensure consistent and accurate information is delivered to patrons
  • To complete daily administrative functions including; retail sales, conducting facility tours and processing memberships, while maintaining a safe and professional customer service area

Salary: Casual Band 3A + 25% - $39.16 per hour (inclusive 25% casual loading) + Super
