Ready to start your mining career with Northern Star's 2025/26 Summer Vacation Program, offering hands-on experience in gold mining operations.
Your RoleKey responsibilities include:
- Participate in a 12-week summer vacation program providing practical, hands-on mining experience
- Work on-site at multiple Northern Star operations with options for Fly-in, Fly-out (FIFO) or residential placements
- Choose to gain experience in Open Pit, Underground, or Exploration mining methods
- Contribute as an integral team member supporting Northern Star's projects and success
The company is looking for:
- Second or penultimate year students studying Geology
- Keen interest in pursuing a career in the mining industry
- Ability to meet pre-employment criteria, including medical, drug and alcohol screening, right to work, and valid Australian national police clearance
- Paid practical work experience
- Residential and FIFO role options
