Ready to start your mining career with Northern Star's 2025/26 Summer Vacation Program, offering hands-on experience across multiple sites.
Your RoleKey responsibilities include:
- Participate in a 12-week paid Vacation Program during the summer break
- Gain practical, hands-on experience applying your surveying studies in real-life mining scenarios
- Work on site-based placements with options for Fly-in, Fly-out (FIFO) or residential roles
- Choose to work in Open Pit, Underground, or Exploration mining methods
- Contribute as an integral team member to Northern Star's projects and operations
The company is looking for:
- Second or penultimate year students studying Surveying
- Keen interest in pursuing a career in the mining industry
- Ability to meet pre-employment criteria, including medical, drug and alcohol screening
- Relevant right to work and avalid Australian national police clearance
- Paid practical work experience
- Residential and FIFO placement options
