Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Participate in a 12-week paid Vacation Program during the summer break
  • Gain practical, hands-on experience applying mining engineering studies in real-life scenarios
  • Work on site-based placements with Fly-in, Fly-out (FIFO) and residential options
  • Choose between Open Pit, Underground, or Exploration mining methods
  • Contribute as an integral team member to Northern Star's operations and projects
About You

The company is looking for:

  • Second or penultimate year students studying Mining Engineering
  • Keen interest in pursuing a career in the mining industry
  • Ability to meet pre-employment criteria, including medical, drug and alcohol screening
  • Relevant right to work in Australia and a valid Australian national police clearance
