ASIC is seeking an experienced Product Manager to provide leadership, management and direction to a team of product owners across the RegistryConnect Program. The core focus of the role will be on data and Director ID products. Some knowledge of data products will be beneficial.

Location: Sydney, Melbourne & Traralgon. Other locations considered. Salary: From $153,448 - $162,634 (depending on experience) + 15.4% superannuation. 36-month fixed term contract. Applications close at 11:59pm AEST, Tuesday 16 September 2025.

The Team

The RegistryConnect Program will provide reliable, secure, trusted, and efficient registry services to support the economy for the benefit of all Australians. The Program has five strategic objectives: stabilise ASIC Registry technology for enhanced security and performance, modernise registers, user channels, and interfaces, improve data quality and integrity through better linkages, enable registry reform via policy and legislative changes, and build lasting capabilities for future enhancements.

The Role

As a seasoned Product Manager with strong leadership qualities, you will be required to:

  • Lead and manage product owners across the program
  • Deliver outcomes by leveraging people, tech, data, law, and policy
  • Modernise ASIC registers, data, and user interfaces per One ASIC principles
  • Prioritise delivery of Director and data features based on user needs and feasibility
  • Represent user data needs to ensure consumer-focused product design
  • Enhance UX using data insights to drive engagement and measurable impact
  • Collaborate with ASIC teams and partners to deliver quality products
  • Advise on UX, UI, and accessibility design
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organisational standards
About You
Qualifications & Experience
  • Tertiary qualifications and/or experience leading large transformation programs
  • Background in IT, Business, or Communications with product and change management expertise
  • Proven delivery of complex, enterprise-wide programs with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of ASIC's strategy and operating model
  • Skilled in leveraging ASIC's IT infrastructure to improve processes
  • Effective influencer across all organisational levels
  • Able to bridge business needs and technology constraints
  • Strong decision-making in high-pressure, competing priority environments
  • Balanced focus on business and IT strategy, automation, and service delivery
  • Experienced in managing people, process, and behavioural change initiatives
