About the Role:
Cloudstreet Consulting is seeking an experienced and results-driven SAGE Development Manager to lead the final phases of delivery for the Sage application—the NT Government's core budget management system. This is a key role focused on ensuring successful production deployment and supporting user onboarding across departments.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-impact digital transformation project within the NT public sector, working closely with both internal NTG teams and external stakeholders.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead Final Delivery Phases: Oversee and manage the final stages of the Sage application development, ensuring that all project milestones are met as planned
  • Support Onboarding of Production Users: Support the rollout team to develop and implement strategies to facilitate the smooth onboarding of production users, providing necessary training and support to ensure they are fully equipped to use the Sage application effectively.
  • Team Leadership: Manage established team resources to deliver a schedule of work while maintaining good moral and achievements focused team environment.
  • Project Management: Maintain established delivery timelines and reports; including the expectation for delivery to key stakeholders, with the support of the Director. Effectively communicate the requirements for application development and represent the project.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, quality assurance, and customer support, to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the development and onboarding processes.
  • ​Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues. Support or lead the Senior User forums and support the Steering Committee forum.


Requirements
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience in software development and project management, with a focus on application development and user onboarding.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of successfully leading application development teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with Budget or Financial management
  • Experience with the Sage application or similar software is a plus.

Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of software development best practices and industry standards.
  • Familiarity with user training and support strategies.
