Day-to-Day Responsibilities of a Sous Chef
Working as a Sous Chef in this busy coastal restaurant, you will take on responsibilities such as :
- Leading service during busy peak periods with confidence and composure.
- Collaborating with the Head Chef to deliver quality, consistent menus for a family-style dining experience.
- Mentoring and motivating junior chefs, providing hands-on guidance to build skill and morale.
- Managing inventory, supplier orders, and food costings to maintain efficiency and control budgets.
- Upholding food safety, hygiene, and presentation standards at all times.
