About The Role

As a Youth/Disability Worker, you will play a crucial role in guiding and empowering these young minds to become confident and capable to thrive and be the best version of themselves. Your dedication will contribute to creating a more inclusive and compassionate society.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build meaningful connections with youth through mentorship and guidance.
  • Develop and implement engaging programs that foster personal growth.
  • Provide emotional support and a listening ear to help young people navigate challenges.
  • Collaborate with the team to create a welcoming and inclusive environment.
  • Utilise your personal experience to inspire and connect with young individuals.
  • Support and encourage children and young people with Dual Diagnosis including Trauma based behaviour to feel safe and secure, building trusting relationships.

About You
  • Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential Care), or equivalent or working towards it.
  • Hold current regulatory requirements or willingness to obtain as per role and state.
  • Passionate about human rights and creating positive change.
  • Empathetic and compassionate, with a keen understanding of diverse experiences.
  • Excellent communication skills to connect with others.
  • Enthusiastic team player, eager to collaborate and inspire.
  • Availability for a 24/7 rotating roster including weekends and sleepover shifts.
