Responsibilities- Work with a small high impact team that values respect, trust & shared purpose.
- Support the Program Director and Team Leader - ASR to work collaboratively with leaders to:
- Translate the ambitions statements of YTT into cohesive and integrated plans; provide clarity on required outcomes and alignment to the delivery of the corporate strategy.
- Develop a best practice culturally intelligent approach for Water Corporation's way of working.
- Strengthen coordination between initiatives, programs and activities, with a focus on building a shared sense of direction and alignment.
The Aboriginal Strategy and Reconciliation Senior Advisor plays a critical role in the development, implementation, and coordination of the Corporation's Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow strategy and Reconciliation Action Plan project planning. Both strategies outline the Corporation's vision to walk alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to build a sustainable water future for all Western Australians.

- Engage senior management on the implementation of the YTT strategy
- Lead stakeholder engagement and communications across relevant initiatives
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional with a strong mix of qualifications and practical expertise:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, with experience in strategy development and stakeholder engagement
- Experience in supporting business processes and communications for government or large, multidisciplinary organisations
- Experience coordinating and leading complex projects with multiple committees and steering groups
- Experience building strategic collaborations with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills; highly developed verbal/written communication, interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to engage key stakeholders at senior management levels
- Current knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and frameworks including Equal Opportunity Act 1984, Fair Work Act 2009, Closing the Gap National Agreement
